She has over 15 years of experience in workplace culture and climate consulting that includes diversity, equity, and inclusion, organizational effectiveness, change management, employee experience architecture, engagement and retention strategies, talent management, and leadership development. She is a talented keynote speaker, facilitator, and professional certified coach known for her ability to empower clients to action that breeds results. A’Yanna is a people and culture industry thought leader known for delivering real and innovative solutions that result in great places to work.
Prior to launching Winning Within, A’Yanna served as a contract speaker and independent consultant for national and international recognized seminar and speaking companies. In her early career, she held professional positions in television news, as a non-profit executive, and in a number of leadership roles in public and corporate sectors. She has also had the privilege of working in academia as an adjunct professor. A’Yanna gained a wealth of knowledge from these diverse experiences that she now leverages as a business entrepreneur and workplace consultant.

She is a Certified CliftonStrengths Coach, who uses Strengths-Based Development to help clients make the shift from weakness fixing to discovering what’s right with them. A’Yanna is a wife and proud mom of two. An avid reader and writer as well, she is the author of the book, Winning Ways: How to Achieve Success No Matter What!
A’Yanna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio /TV Communication, a Masters of Public Affairs degree, and a Doctorate in Christian Philosophy with an emphasis in Leadership.
